♦ LAUNCHING 2026

Portal: An Intelligent Museum Guide

I co-founded Portal, an AI platform revolutionizing public access to art and culture. Portal empowers visitors to explore freely - both onsite and online - and enables institutions to finally unlock their archives and put generations of knowledge to work.

♦ LAUNCHED JULY 2026

ArtLens Gallery Reimagined

In 2023, the Cleveland Museum of Art invited me to an intensive 3-day workshop with artists, technologists and cultural thinkers to imagine the next iteration of their iconic ArtLens gallery.

In 2026, I was invited back to support content strategy for key elements of the 10,000 square foot reinstallation. I refined storytelling in select interactive and immersive installations so the ideas could land with more energy and impact.

♦ PUBLISHED SPRING 2026

Points of View: 100 Connections to Art

I contributed three essays to this Metropolitan Museum of Art compendium, spotlighting my personal perspective on very diverse works of art: an ancient Roman mosaic, a Japanese kimono from Okinawa, and a Mexican woodblock print.

♦ RECENT INTERVIEW

Museums' Next Opportunity: Deeper Engagement, Richer Context, Wider Access

Recently I gave an interview to the French publication L'OCIM about how museums can engage emerging technology to increase access to art & cultural knowledge. L'OCIM (L'Office de coopération et d'information muséales) is the premier French hub for heritage and science museums, connecting professionals and tracking industry trends & research.

Forthcoming

Highlights from The Met

View a selection of projects from eleven+ years at The Met, where I led innovation in the Digital Department, executive producing and directing work across audio, video, podcasting, AR, VR and immersive storytelling.

Chroma AR Experience

Watch a demo of the Chroma AR experience which accompanied The Met exhibition: Chroma: Ancient Sculpture in Color, July 5, 2022–March 26, 2023

This Augmented Reality experience combined art history, science, and selfies to “wow” users with a secret hiding in plain sight:  Ancient sculpture was multi-colored, not white. Using their smartphones, users could virtually recreate an ancient Greek sculpture of a sphinx in full color, in their own space. They could compare the reconstruction of its original vivid colors with how it looks today and experience the work through interpretative and playful components. The project was a collaboration between scientists, imaging specialists, conservators, technologists, and art historians and included both interpretive and playful components.

Frame of Mind: An Art & Wellness Podcast

Watch a trailer for the Frame of Mind podcast

I Executive Produced The Met's first podcast series, Frame of Mind, exploring art's connection to well-being through personal stories from Met staff, medical practitioners, artists, activists, and others. The podcast launched during the pandemic to connect broader audiences to art as a resource in daily life.

Visitors to Versailles: Immersive Binaural 3-D Audio Experience

How do you create a "you-are-there" audio experience to bring alive a royal court in 17th century France? I produced and directed this 3D audio tour to accompany the landmark Met exhibition, Visitors to Versailles (1682-1789), April 16–July 29, 2018.  Dramatizations of actual visitor accounts are layered across 40 tracks of binaural sound,  giving listeners the uncanny sense of being inside the palace alongside the long-ago visitors themselves.

The Met 360° Project

Explore the 360 video series. On Desktop: click and drag your mouse. On mobile: move your phone or use your finger to scroll.

I produced and directed this series of six short videos that present The Met’s architecture in dramatic new ways using a moving rig of spherical 360° cameras. Cables were strung, protective covers removed from works of art, and cameras positioned to let viewers explore the building as never before — from wherever they are in the world.
